The magnanimous soul rooted in goodness is able to to things not as right or wrong but as great or small. Alexandre Havard is the founder of HVLI and serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board. Born in France, Mr. Havard is a graduate of one of France’s leading law schools, and worked as a lawyer throughout Europe. In 2007 Alexandre Havard founded the Havard Virtuous Leadership Institute (HVLI). Since 2007 he has been living and working in Paris, Helsinki, and Moscow, and regularly travels to the United States. He oversees the HVLI network and offers the Virtuous Leadership seminars to business executives, educators, public officials, and MBA students and consults with some of the largest international corporations around the world. Alexandre Havard is the author of Virtuous Leadership: An Agenda for Personal Excellence, which was published in New York by Scepter Publishers in 2007. The book is in its fourth printing in English, it has been translated into 13 other languages, including Chinese, Russian, French, Polish and Spanish.

Según cuenta el profesor, el conflicto se divide en la dimensión "racional", que tiene que ver con la falta de alineamiento en las ideas, y la dimensión "emocional", que abarca ya no las ideas sino la confianza entre las partes. En la mayoría de ocasiones, estas dimensiones van unidas y en su opinión esto complica el proceso de resolución de un conflicto. El profesor de Dirección de Personas en las Organizaciones considera que el conflicto ayuda a "avanzar, a replantearse, a buscar soluciones más creativas", sobre todo cuando se trata de un conflicto más racional. Cuando la dimensión afectada es la emocional, una buena solución del conflicto puede ayudar a aprender a perdonar, a conocer las limitaciones mutuas e incluso a "entendernos mejor y querernos más". El profesor de Dirección de Personas en las Organizaciones considera que el conflicto ayuda a "avanzar, a replantearse, a buscar soluciones más creativas", sobre todo cuando se trata de un conflicto más racional. There is a certain ambiguity to the word ‘freedom’. Some people say that to be free is to be independent—but we humans are clearly dependent on so many things. Some others think that freedom is the power to do whatever one likes—but this rather superficial definition will not resist serious scrutiny. We could rightly say that to be free is to have fulfilled all the potentialities of our nature—but this is a future freedom. In the present, freedom has to do with our personal choices, and the extent of our freedom depends on the quality of those choices.

With the video entitled "Christian Politicians, seeking the common good," they managed to catch the attention of the public, offering a finished product of high technical quality.

The video contains extensive interviews with university students and professors, politicians and other public personalities. The video also includes some statements of Pope Benedict XVI, wherein he emphasizes the need for a new generation of Christian politicians who, being professionally well-formed, are committed to the common good and the defense of the fundamental values of the human person.

The idea of time off helps one see professional life as multi-dimensional and personally enriching, and not simply a one-way fast lane.
