An Interview with Robert Weber An interview with the President of the 2010 UNIV Forum.   UNIV: Setting Foundations for the Future 4000 students from over 200 universities around the world will spend Holy Week in Rome. For several months now they have been preparing for this year’s UNIV topic: “Can Christianity inspire a global culture?â€?   Letter to the Pope Letter to the Pope by participants of the 43rd International University Congress UNIV, on the theme “Can Christianity Inspire a Global Culture?â€?   "Living Freedom Decisively" Presentation of the theme of UNIV 2011.   The Pope addresses UNIV participants in general audience by Vatican Information Service Among his greetings at the end of today's general audience, the Pope addressed a group of 4,000 university students participating in the UNIV Congress 2010.

Engagement with Our World: Considerations Inspired by St. Thomas More by Dr. Andrew Hegarty Andrew Hegarty is the Director of the Thomas More Institute, London. He is an expert in the history of European Universities, and has served as director of Grandpont House in Oxford.   Evangelizing culture through the power of culture itself Joseph Pearce gave his audience of approximately 800 students a brief outline of intellectual history in the West—from the ancient Greeks to the modern British experience—and of the struggle to give Christian witness in each epoch.

UNIVTube First Prize: "Christian Politicians, seeking the common good" In this presentation, the participants try to analyze what is and what should be the role of Christians in public life: and more precisely, in political life.   Winner for Technical Quality: "Despierta" (Wake Up) The UNIVTube "Pigna" for best technical quality was awarded to the participants from Colegio Mayor Ayete (San Sebastián, Spain).   Winner for Creativity: "Do you know Pope Benedict XVI?" The UNIVTube "Pigna" for Creativity was awarded to the participants from Colegio Mayor Mendaur (Pamplona, Spain).

Other Iniciatives

3rd Univ Case Competition by Christoph Jeschke Different teams coming from 5 countries solved a case study about the company “UnME Jeansâ€? and presented a recommendation for the company’s branding Web 2.0 and social media strategy.   Universitary Debate Tournament by Josemaría Carreras Over the course of the year an ongoing debating competition has been carried out in diverse cities.
