Christianity has much to offer on the practical and ethical level, for the Gospel never ceases to inspire men and women to place themselves at the service of their brothers and sisters. Few would dispute this. Yet those who fix their gaze upon Jesus of Nazareth with eyes of faith know that God offers a deeper reality which is nonetheless inseparable from the “economy” of charity at work in this world : He offers salvation.

Somos libres para pensar por cuenta propia. Pero, ¿tenemos el valor de hacerlo de verdad? ¿O estamos más bien acostumbrados a repetir lo que dicen los periódicos y revistas, la televisión, la radio, lo que leemos en internet o lo aseverado por alguna persona, más o menos interesante, con la que nos cruzamos por la calle? ¿Estamos dispuestos, en definitiva, a ser o llegar a ser “filósofos”, a entusiasmarnos con la realidad y buscar el sentido último de nuestra vida?
