Before an audience of University students and professors, participants will present either written works (if desired with the aid of a PowerPoint presentation) or posters presenting their research or reflections on the theme of UNIV’09.

Within the UNIV Forum 2009, the ICNET network has organized the fifth edition of the "Forum of Social Initiatives". This has been an event directed towards university students who wanted to present their social interest initiatives to the rest of the participants. Based on the decision of a jury, the Forum of Social Initiatives has awarded two of the presentations. These are two of the best projects presented:

A virtual forum in which university students from around the world share their views of the most pressing issues of our global society in a constructive, innovative, and artistic way. UNIVTUBE offers the opportunity of presenting a video-documentary in which the theme of UNIV’09 is investigated and developed.
